Oral Traditions

The stories that are passed down from generation to generation, whether through written or oral form, are essential to who we are and who we become. These stories create our culture and help to shape our future. In Fahrenheit 451, the citizens began to lose sight of this and started to burn the very stories that are so essential to us as humans. With this in mind, we are going to study and collect stories that are essential to who we are to help us further explore and recognize what a tragedy it was when books were banned and burned in Fahrenheit 451.
